Wheelie Bin Collection Days

Southland District is divided into two areas for wheelie bin collection, each with its own calendar for collection of rubbish and recycling.

Please note:

There will be no recycling or rubbish collections on Good Friday, 6 April. If your normal collection day is Friday, please place your bin out on Saturday, 7 April for collection.

• Normal collection will resume on the week starting Monday 9 April.
• All Southland District Transfer Stations will be closed on Good Friday 6 April and Easter Sunday, 8 April.

If you are unsure about when to put your bin out, or the opening hours of your local transfer station, visit www.wastenet.org.nz or phone Council.

Collection Area 1 covers the following areas:
